I liked that girl a lot.

Then you obligated under FR Code Section 1.218 to post a pic. Rules are rules.

I'll be checking on you. ;)

Boortz is big on CRASH - I'm going to Netflix it - put in line with the 45 movies Mrs. Freedomlover has in the queue.

The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe is definitely very good and many people agree. Even though Kong and the Homo cowboy movie get all the pub.

Narnia is now one of the Top 70 movies of all time and approaching $200M

I liked "just Like Heaven," too. Mark Ruffalo was so good in "13 going on 30" - very likeable screen persona.

Really liked National Treasure - my 13 yo son really got into it, which fueled interest for history this year.

And we both loved Narnia.

I thought Narnia was a great movie, one of the top three for the year, easily.

Serenity was good.

"May not have been the winning side, but I'm still not convinced it was the wrong side."

About independents losing 'civil war' against US/PRC alliance in far future.

Somebody please correct here, but if I understand the words right Firefly and Serenity are not conservative, but libertarian. anybody?

Somebody asked about Kaylee. This is Kaylee, one of the popular characters on Serenity from TV Show Firefly.

Also, Great Raid was in the list

Poster says : "The most daring rescue mission of our time is a story that has never been told."

Made into movie that has never been seen

I saw this in short time it was out. This movie could only have be better if the Duke John Wayne had lived to be in it! Great conservative movie. Anybody notice that it get no press or TV notice? Great shame is that a story about heroism of American soldiers is no not politically PC that the critics and others shunned this wonderfully good movie.
I loved this. Reminds me of first American movies I saw with old black and white pictures and heroes are real heroes. No wimpy undeciding 'antiheros' no thank you American soldiers are heroes, rescuing POW prisoners from evil japanese.

None of the 'let's understand the other guys-they're not really evil because it's US fault'-junk in this movie- bad guys are bad guys. We Americans are good guys and we win.

I think it may have to do with press does not want young people to think Army are heroes because they want young people to not understand that protecting USA from evil people is auspicious and worthy of great merit.

Did the Incredibles come out in 2005? I think it was a late 2004 movie (Thanksgiving or Christmas). I'm pretty sure we had the DVD by Easter 2005.

Jor-El says (v.o.) to his son "... they are a good people... they only need someone to show them the light - which is why I sent you - my only son..." Made my jaw drop.

Rent the original "Superman: the Movie". The line was lifted right out of it. Of course, all of Brando's lines in the upcoming film were lifted from the original (unless they found some on the cutting room floor.)

The late Marlon Brando cast as the late Jor El. Best stunt casting since Sir Laurence Olivier in "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow".

It is by far the best SciFi I have seen in years. They finally get it right and some jerk pulls the plug. I was completely dejected when I was finished watching it all.

Rented and watched The Great Raid tonight. Outstanding movie. I was a little angry too that it didn't do as well as it deserves. I also couldn't help but feel that if it had been made by Steven Speilberg, Hollywood would have been falling all over itself to give the movie awards.

I agree. Even "Geisha" is conservative - its not about glamorizing prostitution. Love em or hate em, conservative movies speak to timeless values that never grow old. Liberal movies are dated as soon as they hit the theater screens.
