"Oh, how I would love to see the list of the dozen or so Traitor Tots!

To the FReeper who invented that description of the spies, hats off for coining a new FR phrase!"

Just trying to catch up today (been busy trying to fireproof my home and acreage as stuff is burning up around here). Anyway..I was the one who 'coined' the keyword: Traitor tots...lol...thanks for the kudos.

Perhaps you could get Sacred Cow Burgers or another cartoonist to give a spin to that coin!

This may seem naive, idealistic, maybe platitudinous:

We are supposed to have a government by the people, for the people and of the people. WE DO NOT! The government is an self-interested aristocracy composed of career politicians and manipulative demagogues. The nomination and election process is a farce - apparently controlled by the MEDIA.

Yes, it's probably better than any other governance anywhere else, but America's social culture degenerates as successive generations seem to lose their independent will. I don't like Americans being disposable pawns to a self-servicing establishment of ideological elites.

The democrat party's partisan wars undermine our national security. Rochefeller and Kerry, et al, act as enemy agents. NOT one elected politician has condemned the subversive tactics of the ACLU. Congress is self-protective and betray America's citizens.

I am thoroughly disgusted.

Your initial description fits.

Yours is the argument of the loser, the one who feels its all over and nothing can be done. If the liberals have beaten you, fine. I am optimistic about our future. I believe these people will eventually be exposed and defeated.

Hey, I am issuing my War Cry! By nature, I am pro-active, preventative and protective - I don't believe in "eventually" - I believe in right now.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wait...exactly WHAT was the national security leak?

It was not that NSA was wiretapping terrorist suspects' calls to the USA (and vice versa.) We all hoped that was being done and everyone (including trerrorists) knew that those calls were being monitored. So the NYTs did NOT leak that those calls were being monitored.

All the NYTs revealed was that President Bush had allowed for the calls to be monitored without complying with either Title III or FISA court orders. How does the mere fact that NSA is following a new procedure to do what public law allowed NSA to do anyway impact national security?

All the terrorists coulda learned from NYTs was that there was a new, third, procedure for NSA to use to monitor terrorist calls to and from USA....not that their calls were being monitored in the first place. Terrorists knew their calls to/from USA were being monitored before NYTs article, and they know it now.

While leak should definitely be investigated it should be investigated because the leak breaks the law and impacts law enforcement integrity. But national security concerns are bogus...

As an side, I would like to know WHY UNFIT John Kerry's sworn testimony (circa 1970) before Congress accusing the U.S. Military in Viewnam of "atrocities", and why this slanderous traitorous testimony which was entered into the Congressional Record for posterity, cannot be used as evidence against John Kerry in a people's Class Action for treason against him? I find his re-election over 20 yrs, his being tolerated by senate comrades, his presidential nomination, an INFAMOUS INSULT to American citizens.

IF Kerry had been elected president, today we would be labouring under the blasted United Nations' flag, and waiting for some damn "global consensus" about how to live our lives and what to think!

Talk about giving up and giving in?! I am mad as hell!

For that fool Pres. Chirac, France's destiny is "diversity." America's destiny is a hopeful renaissance of LIBERTY.

*You made interesting points. However, the issue should be the New York Times is a propaganda instrument of the disloyal leftist opposition. Without contradiction and without rebuttal, the destructive effects of the left-biased NYT's obstructive propagandizing extend throughout the world. Obviously, the NYT consistently trumpets neoMarxist democrat partylines which contribute to the limited thinking of those who are convinced that America is a one big fat quasi racist-fascistic nation spying on citizens. My argument - Republicans are deaf and dumb.

Well, I can only guess that the White House didn't see the NYTs story as impacting national security. They didn't start the "national security investigation" when they learned of the leak. The NYTs held off publishing at request of White House for over one year. (If they really wanted to hurt President Bush, they woulda published pre-election. The NYTs had the story.)

So the White House and AG knew about the "national security leak" a 14 months ago. Why would the govt wait until the NYTs publishes the story to begin this "important" criminal investigation? And why let the leaker, who apparently has a high security clearance, remain in govt for an extra 14 months?

*Good question. Maybe to get the complete irrefutable goods on the leaker(s)? I am all for a "witchhunt", a purge, an inquisition - whatever the treasonist leftist fifth column and the ACLU would call it, and starting with Kerry and Rockefeller. Kerry publicly slandered our troops when he falsely accused them of "terrorizing" Iraqi women and children. Unfit Kerry should be tarred and feathered, be smurched with rotten eggs and driven out of USA into the arms of Pres. Chirac. I cannot believe what that Basturd Kerry gets away with - not one Republican or Democrat congressman's objection!

Very nice graphics!! This is good news, I missed hearing it on Fox today. Is he going to have a special prosecutor or have our morally corrupt congress do it??

Doubt the special prosecutor part as they spend too much money and dash our hopes in the end!
