I did not talk about Ataturk (who was a nasty and cruel dictator). I talked about time span from Ataturk to now - to show how the number of Christians went from millions to almost none today. Even if only thousands are left now, this process still CONTINUES.
They dont use repression towards Roman Catholics like the Russians do.
There are few Catholics in Turkey if any. Most of Christians were Armenians and Greeks.
Beside the Turks werent that bad if Polokonez, the Polish village near Istanbul remained Catholic (with Catholic church) since XVIII century.
Indeed, there is such village. In your eyes if Turks spare one Polish village it balances out the genocide committed on Armenian and Greek Christians. How biased you can be?
You falsely accusing Mickiewicz that he was anti-Russian while ignoring the fact that he wrote for example such lyrics as Do Przyjaciól Moskali (To the Russian friends).
In this case Mickiewicz still hoped for bloody revolution in Russia (the one like came hundred years later). By "friends" he meant potential revolutionaries. Mickiewicz was an occult international revolutionary at the time when proto-Communism and proto-Nazism were being formed together with other poisonous anti-Chistan movements.
He wanted to overthrow the Christian civilization from inside, through art and poetry. He dreamed about the power over people minds and control over Polish culture ("Rzad dusz"). If you read carefully his writing you will notice the motive of a treasonous leader whose objective to destroy Christians (Grenada - a false convert who infects Christians with plague, Walenrod a secret pagan who leads crusaders into the destruction and more ...)
The main reason why the revolutionary enemies of the Church turned against Russia was the defeat of Napoleon and establishment of Holy Alliance. From this moment Russia became the bulwark of "reaction". Mickiewicz was the key figure who managed ti instill this attitude in Poland.
The remedy for him is Krasinski, Prus and some later writers.
They were truth Russian patriots. Believe or not but even in Russia they were people who opposed despotism and in opposition to you they have the balls to do something with it.
