Well, "someone" likes Thode .... for example Tom DeLay and "Friends for Tom". Eric has been Chairman of the Fort Bend GOP (The Republican Party of Fort Bend County, Texas) for 14 years. He is stepping down in March '06 because he is relocating north of Houston. You think if Tom DeLay didn't like Eric, or Eric wasn't doing a great job for Tom, and the local GOP, that he would have been Chairman for 14 years?
