This is only my second attempt to post to FR, I think. Forgive any errors or omissions. This story (like so many others!) just infuriated me so much that I wanted others to be aware of it. Yet again the "accused" perp's family blames police for the horrific accident that killed innocent motorists.

Doin' fine.

I don't think, though, that you needed to excerpt this one.

"My regards go out to the families involved." Heath's brother said, "but if they were chasing my brother the police are at fault because they should not have been chasing him."

I see what you mean. It could also be said that the brother is at fault because he failed to turn in his wanted brother ... his parents could be at fault as they failed to strangle Timeek in his crib ...

I don't have a problem if someone exerpts an article if I don't have to register to read the whole article

No need to register.

My point is, more folks will read something if they don't have to open another link to read what they could in the original post. That's all....

Just trying to be helpful.

You're right.
Just in case someone doesn't have it handy, here is the excerpt only list.
I prefer that most articles are posted in their entirety.
Sometimes external links go bad and it's nice to have a record here.
I generally don't care much either way, though, unless it's Mark Steyn.
I prefer my Steyn nicely unexcerpted.
Just my 2 cents.

I saw the brother of the accused on the news last night. It just astonished me how he pretended to give his condolances to the family of the people his brother killed, then blamed the police for DARING to chase a criminal.

Once again the police try to do their job and *they* end up on the defensive. If they weren't chasing him, it sure seems like they should have been!

Killer is charged with manslaughter only. If it were up to me this would be a capital offense.

Sounds like this brother fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Car thieves and illegal aliens that cause fatalities while running from the police should get the death penalty.
