Love your screen name, wish I had thought of it...I love the color purple...

*Hi! I love shades of purple. Purple is our stable colour, as in lead ropes, halters, saddle pads, buckets, blankets, sponges, etc. In New Hampshire we are blessed with Lilac Blooming Time in early spring. The name "Purpleland" actually attributes to one of my favorite author's novels: The Purple Land, by W.H. Hudson. Purple is regal. Purple is a balance between hot and cold (primary red and blue) - I use purple in all of my amateurish painting attempts. No painted face, or tree, or mountain goes without purple shadowing. I love the lavender hazes of gelid New England winter sunrises and sunsets reflecting upon the snow.

Don't start me on PURPLE. I salute you, daisyscarlett, for loving the colour purple. Blessings for the NEW YEAR.
