MITT ROMNEY - His top goal for 2006 is to enact health-care legislation that provides universal coverage through market mechanisms,

Hardly, He wants to require everyone to buy health insurance whether they want it or need it. Just another rino.

Are we talking about presidential candidates or dogs at the greyhound track.

Barbour is the only one I could support from this list.

Geez, Romney's Massachusetts Miracle is that there's anyone left in his state, they're fleeing in droves.

Odds.... percentages.... what if's.... and hoping.

Looks like whoever wins the 08 nominations may well come out of the pack or maybe not even on the list as of yet. I don't think front runners such as McCain will be the nominee, but then I can't forget South Carolina in 00.

Rudy Giuliani's two numbers are most intriguing. His CNN/US Today poll results are the highest of all these contenders at 30%, yet his poll results among Republican insiders are very low (149 out of 500).

What this tells me is that the media polls are largely driven by name recognition, which explains why Giuliani and McCain lead the CNN/USA Today poll by a wide margin but probably have little or no chance of getting elected to the White House.

I think the "Win!" comment is a refernce to his 2006 Senate race. Rick would have to win that first to even have a shot. Of course, if he does escape defeat, he might be a contender.

How about this one describing Senator Reid.

To those who have their heads up their rump everthing smells like excrement.

Not very impressive as a list. I don't agree about Tom T. either. He might not win but he could best a lot of people on this list in a few primaries and change the entire debate about illegal immigration in the process. Remember how Perot's focus on deficits served to make that THE major topic in the 1992 elections.

Hey, just a minute here............

I was going to engage you in discussion about Congressman Tancredo's political phylosophy, but I can't stop snickering......

That's a funny line! Can I use it?

The only thing more revolting than this list is that whoever is nominated will be up against Hitlery. Does anyone know about housing prices in New Zealand?

I think you are right on. Right now Guiliani's name is very well known and that is driving the poll numbers. In my opinion Guiliani probably cannot win. Millions of Republicans (including this one) will not vote for any ticket with Guiliani on it, period.
