It would be impossible for an animal to do this alone.
The microwave oven doesn't operate until the door is closed.
Reminds me of a line from a Charles Busch farce:
Western lady enters Chinese mansion with lapdog in arms.
Lady (handing dog to servant): "Make this dog something delicious to eat."
