Interesting questions, but it might make more sense to learn to grow bug free lettuce.
The government of Zia-ul-Haq in 1987 introduced fundamentalist doctrines in the teaching of science at all levels, from primary schools to universities. The regime organized international conferences and provided funding for research on such topics as the temperature of hell and the chemical nature of jinns (demons).14

The Muslims are very scientific. They know how to use airliners as missiles, old artillery shells for IUDs, and sharpen knives for a (relatively) quick execution. What's so unscientific about that?
No culture on earth is so quick to use "science" to kill people, but for nothing more.

Jihad takes a lot of time as does mindless memorizing of an illiterate pedophile's teachings.

Gins made of distilled grain and flavored with various botanicals, oftentimes juniper, citrus, star annise, almonds, and orris root.

One reason I found when working in Muslim centric countries was the incessant interruptions for prayers. Barely any meeting or work step was left intact after repeated interruptions for the Muslim component to leave, often for as much as 40 minutes three times during the normal workday. Ramadan further degraded performance due to fasting and even more time out for religious activities.

Between praying five times a day, cursing infedels, beating their women, and building car bombs... who has time for science?
To: SJackson
Using Muslim and science in a single sentence seems to be an oxymoron in its self.
Except for the most elite of the Mideastern Muslims, they still wipe their a** on their hand, or in some cases a stone( which they save until needed again...lol).

In particular, the great theologian Abu Hamid Muhammad al-Ghazali (1059-1111) used the tools of the philosophers to undermine philosophical and scientific inquiry. As folks are trying to do in America today.

Science declines when people stop questioning.
Oh, except when it comes to ID. Then we just say "God did it" and leave it at that.
