I see so many; especially on the left, complaining that President Bush is taking our civil liberties away with his wanting to protect the country from another terrorist attack. Yet they have no complain about our constitutional rights taken away to possess and bear arms.

Personally I don't care for guns, but that is my own choice. I have no right to push my feeling on others

I agree with you in principle. I don't have to like what you do in order to see that I have no right to control it (assuming that you aren't hurting anyone).
