"I am black (as you may have noticed in my tagline) I have never celebrated Kwanzaa and don't know anyone who does, not one soul..... and I know tons of black people. "

I know a family, and I think a couple of friends who come along because they are invited.

But I live in the most liberal county in Florida, so there are bound to be some oddities.

The point is that if some wish to wear silly shirts and celebrate some made-up heritage thing...let them!

This country was built on the notion of individual rights, and people have the right to wear silly shirts, light a messed up Menorah, and celebrate whatever the hell they want to celebrate!

Again, no one is trying to stop anyone from celebrating the stupid marxist, racist thing. They're just pointing out that it was inappropriate, given the history of Kwanzaa and its founder and the stated goals of Kwanzaa, for the President, any President, to be giving it official recognition in the manner that Bush and Clinton have done.
