And white boys are the only demographic group whose high school dropout rate has risen since 2000. 'white boys' Don't ya' just love it!
Could the shift be because of the gangsta culture that 'white boys' didn't start to begin with?

This is exactly what I was thinking. Your post was much better than mine would have been.

Because more men than women drop out, the ratio after four years will be 60--40, according to projections by the Department of Education. Sounds like there will be an increase in LUGs on campus.

Don't Google this threads title at work.
You mean all those sequels aren't a documentary series about the declining male enrollment in colleges?

Isn't this what everyone wanted? I mean, Isn't this what the feminists set out to achieve 40+ years ago, when they started all of this shit and got all of those stupid useless classes put into place?
We're seeing the chickens come home to roost now.

If I answered that it would be an admission that I'm familiar with those art films.

Funny, I was talking to my sister about this subject on Christmas. She (single, childless, professional) thinks it's great that the feminists were so successful. I said I thought the goal was equal opportunity, not better opportunity. She said that oh, the goal was for equal, but when women get together and put their minds to something, they usually do overachieve... I said then why do we keep expanding the programs for girls, when they've already been so wildly successful? She thinks there just needs to be some tinkering. I was really getting pretty angry with her, because she was positively gleeful that girls are doing so much better than boys in education. Grrrrr.

The youngest millionare in my state started his own landscaping business after high school after years of mowing lawns. Meanwhile just about every college grad i know has a gutter-job, mostly working in retail, some still wait tables.
I have seen very few females intent on receiving a quality education and devolping a skill that is marketable in the workplace. Most persue idealistic majors in Sociology, Psych. Etc. The Academic Institutions seem all too eager to tailor to this while injecting leftist doctrine, all ignoring where this education will be applied to in thier lives.
Oh well, i'll graduate with my peice of paper and play the game.

Anyway, these links suck.

Does everything have to be proportionally split by gender (usage?), race, creed, mother's maiden name, etc...?

I refuse to comment on the quality or redeeming social values of the aforementioned films. (Or lack thereof...)

one in four of them will be mathematically unable to find a male peer to go out with. A lot of the guys are willing to add on.

If the shotgun is painted white, does that mean it's a formal wedding?

MVS is an "adult" entertainment chain where you can find the movie series "Where the Boys Are'nt".
To: Daralundy
Ok, for starters, who cares if these women have a man to go out with, anyway? Aren't they supposed to be studying? Plenty of time to find a man after you get your education, if you start college right out of high school.
The greater numbers of women in college versus men might just reflect the fact that there are more reasonable opportunities for men than for women who have only a high school education. I also think they undercount the men who are in technical education programs, those are still overwhelmingly male in most vocational education programs.
