For years my solution for locking down the Mexican border was to supplement the Border Patrol with 30,000 US military. Many in mobile formations for fast response to intrusions. Bill O'Reilly spouted the same solution. But the Israelis have shown that border fences can work when they are constructed to be effective and aren't just showpieces. Today I think a 2,000 mile hi-tech fence with 5,000 mobile troops can seal the border. We just need the will to give the complaining Mexicans the middle finger and start building it.
Why would any red blooded American care what Mexico has to say about our fence?
