Lecturing liberal lion of the old media (MSM Dinosaur Alert)

"You can call me anything you want, but do not call me a racist," said an indignant President George Bush on Dec. 12, commenting on the despicable, opportunistic suggestion that any inadequacies in the federal response to Hurricane Katrina were due to racism.

But veteran network media giants Ted Koppel and Tom Brokaw don't quite see it that way. Indeed, they don't appear to see eye-to-eye with President Bush on much of anything if their joint interview with Tim Russert on NBC's "Meet the Press" is any indication.

Russert was uncharacteristically tame..

I think there's some kind of link between blow-driers and sanctimoniousness.

President Bush needs to get this fact through his head: the MSM and the 'Rats DON'T CARE what Bush does for or on behalf of blacks. He will always be a "racist" because he is a "Republican". Slamming Bill Bennett, promising billions of dollars to NOLA, appointing blacks to the highest levels of his staff and even wishing all of us a "Happy Kwanzaa" have not changed their mantra.

President Bush's pandering only makes those of us who want to believe in him question his motives.

The smell I get every time I hear Koppel or Brokaw or Rather or Cronkite reminds me of an outhouse on a hot July day in South Georgia!! Not pleasant, and full of it.

I guess the fact that Colin Powell and Condi Rice were elevated to high positions in his cabinet does not count .How they can even entertain the idea with a straight face that Bush is a racist is dishonest and sickening to me.
