They put a carrier agent in scents - I can't remember the name of the darn stuff.

Anyway, the agent is what I am alergic to, not the scent.

Sounds like you - rose oil is expensive, so it is typically diluted with the carrier agent...

Sounds logical to me. It must be what concentrates and amplifies the scent to such a great degree. The natural, delicate aroma of roses gives me no problem. But I have literally gasped for breath when a woman wearing too much of the 'rose oil' perfume has stood next to me. And trust me, I ain't no wimpy/wussy guy getting a case of the 'vapors'...lol. That carrier addition may be the culprit.
