Today has been a non event in trying to organise things. The death certificate was not available until about 1.00pm as the Coroner had to give the OK because mum died less than 24 hours after entering hospital and then because of snow and ice dad did not want me to go and collect it.

Tried to get hold of the Funeral Directors all day by phone without being able to get through.

So tomorrow have to collect the death certificate and I shall go into the Funeral Directors on the way back. I have to also register the death and apparently nowadays you have to make an appointment to do that. The hospital gave me the phone number but could not get through today so they must have had another day's holiday, I will go into the office tomorrow and book an appointment hopefully I will not have to wait around to long.
