I can smell smoke here (south of Tulsa) and I've seen and heard fire trucks. It looked to me like there was a fire near the grass farm at 121st and Sheridan here in Tulsa. I just drove by there.

There was a fire this morning across the street from the land my children live on. It jumped the road and came fairly close to my daughters house before the fire dept. got it put out.

We watched a fire move severalmiles while hiking south of Muskogee yesterday. There is smoke in the air here today and it reeks of burnt grass...

We're in Edmond. There were fires on 3 sides of us (5 miles away, 7 miles away, and further away in Guthrie) just the other day. We packed some clothing, and things that can't be replaced and threw it in the car...just in case.
Never had to deal with this before. It's kind of scary. Praying for rain....
