They believe that the number "4" is bad luck. An office building at 444 Market St. in SF spent a large sum to rename itself "#1 something or other" "square" or "place" to get rid of the 4's in their address. There was a bank in the building that was losing chinese customers because of its bad luck address.

322 and 735. Those are the ones I know. Be very careful if you see those numbers. Behind them is an evil Djinn who will come and demand that you grant him three wishes. If you cannot, it's off with your head, snicker-snack!

Other numbers I cannot say. Some are bad. Some are good. You must hire my cousin. He is feng shui expert. Very good. Cheap, too.

745 is another bad one. It is pronounced chi si wu, which sounds a lot like chi si wo. The first is the three numbers, the second translates roughly to "kill me with anger". I had that number on a license plate, and the car was hit several times before I managed to get a new plate.

My wife being chinese, she also had me pester the phone company to make sure we got a phone number that didn't have bad number combinations.
