Howlin, I generally agree with your POV. However, in this regard, I have to disagree.

This is a very slipperly slope that we are going down...and the ONLY reason the FReepers are behind it is because they feel that they can trust this administration.

I, on the other hand, tend to look at these issues with my Clintonista glasses on...and through those lenses, this troubles me....because some day, you and I are going to be labelled "terrorists"....

I don't like knee jerk reactions that automatically bottomline to the worse case scenario. From legal wiretaps the next stop is Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia.

This country has allowed terrorists to operate freely... now, we are beginning to listen in on their conversation in order to stop them from carrying out their terrorist activities.
