Actually, my 1970 Delta 88 Sport had the ignition switch go toes up in it. That thar was a finicky vehicle. My Dad called it a "rolling death trap that has way too much horsepower for it's own good" after I let him borrow it to make it in to work one night. Coming from a Sheriff's Deputy of 20-some odd years of patrol experience I took it as a sign I needed to port the heads a bit more.
LOL!
Mom's Audi A4 2.8 is somewhat 'too much car' for my experience.
You hit the accel pedal slightly, and the thing is rocketing off.
(5 valves per...)
Quite surprising for a station wagon, and quite a nasty surprise for the kids in the Honda Civics.
Had a VW Dasher with a bad ignition switch.
It would do odd stuff like make the lights go nuts and various other inexplicable things.
All from a little 3 buck at most switch.
