I'm wondering where the parents were in all this--no one in Egypt gets married without the entire family being heavily involved. (In fact, an Egyptian friend told me that when he was courting his now wife, the girl's family always went along on dates.) Were they willing to let their son marry another guy, and just hope the groom didn't complain?

I know I shouldn't laugh....but I just can't help it. What is it with these people? They are so screwed up about the sexes. They seem so afraid of women it might be a good idea if they all married men. For them there'd be no problem with unclean women, and for our side there'd be no little weirdo babies, groomed to be terrorists, from these lovely couples.
