That's the public schools--blank stares and blank minds.
Good for you for removing your children from a hostile environment.

[ The people who practice the above don't celebrate Kwanzaa. So don't compare apples and oranges. The truth is that most people who celebrate kwanzaa (a very small portion of the black population) are in all likelihood educated, productive individuals. ]
and democrats, socialists and very probably traitors..

Good post. Kwanzaa is a game run on black people designed to handivac their wallets.

From Dictionary.com:
"The political and economic philosophy of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in which the concept of class struggle plays a central role in understanding society's allegedly inevitable development from bourgeois oppression under capitalism to a socialist and ultimately classless society."

Well, goes to prove you can find support for any bizarity on the web.
Marxism deals with the ownership of the means of production. It is anti-capitalist. The political approach is not particulary relevant. Although it projects that once it is place the state (politics) disappears.

It's hell isn't it? Black posters on more liberal boards used to cut and paste comments from here and throw it in my face when I argued that blacks should vote Republican. Sometimes I couldn't even respond.

Is this a holiday for African Americans? What about just plain Africans? Are white people born on the continent of Africa but live in the U.S.A African American's? What about black people living in Europe? Wasn't there some dopey FNC info-babe that said the "riots in France were in the Muslim areas and not French-African-Americans"? All of that political correctness just makes your head spin when you think about it, doesn't it? But then, you have to remember, PC has precious little to do with thinking.

In Buffalo, N.Y., Denise Renfro said she is proud of the changes in her 10-year-old son since he entered Rites of Passage, an after-school program centered around Kwanzaa principles. "He brings home good grades, likes school and has never gotten into serious trouble," she said

"Any idea, action, opinion, etc. related to black Americans that isn't complete subservience to Conservative/Republican ideals is immediately used as a childish excuse to degrade black people as has been shown in this thread and a thousand others.""I concur with this sentiment. I've been a member of this board for 7 years (5 under my current user name) and the rhetoric has only gotten worse in the past few years. It's hard justifying/rationalizing being a black conservative when I see what passes as conservatism on this board . . . Christian conservatism at that!"
I've been on this board since 1999, and I'm still amazed at the pretentious phony race-baiting of hypocrites like you who feign "conservatism," then cry "racism" when marxist criminals and their lies and phony African "holidays" are exposed.
You aren't interested in truth, or even "Christian conservatism" at that. You are FOS.
To: Shade2
2Shade, I'm pretty satisifed with my position on this. I know its more politically correct to be tolerant when our President panders to race hustlers like he did with the Kwanza announcement, but I still think that you give public respect only to things that deserve public respect. Kwanza isn't one of those things.
The President continues to be wrong, and, alas, so do you.
Happy Kwanza.

Actually I have a graduate level degree in engineering and have worked quite successfully for a number of decades as an engineer including hiring, and having to fire those that have proven to be incompetent in order to avoid accidents, explosions, etc., etc.
If you had bothered to read the thread I am criticizing those who claim 'engineers' are too smart to bother with learning how to think, write and express themselves clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
You shouldn't display you own ignorance so proudly. On the other hand, it may very well be your most prominent attribute.
To: anton
No, you are more so stubborn about your position and desire to unwarrantably attack something that is no threat to you because it is chic on this board to attack anything related specifically to black people, unless those black people are totally subservient to white Republican ideals. Martin Luther King is attacked on this board, except when his quote is used against affirmative action. The folks here embraced the lying mainstream media when it came to New Orleans because New Orleans is a majority black city. A liberal Morgan Freeman is a hero here because he makes ONE statement interpreted as criticizing blacks.
I'm sure that Bush has read the principles of Kwanzaa and realizes that they stress values, responsibilities, communities taking care of themselves instead of begging the government to do it, etc. There is nothing Marxist nor racist about it. I'm not going to criticize those folks just because I don't practice Kwanzaa. Bush knows what he is doing which is why he is in his second term and would go on to a third term is allowed. He is right and you are wrong.

Sorry partner. It is the likes of you who race bait constantly on this board. Black conservatives don't go around posting threads to ridicule whites. Black conservatives don't have their posts deleted on a regular basis here. Folks like youself go around calling blacks racists every chance you get, yet can't accept when you are called out on your race baiting and disrespect. Folks like yourself are the judgemental hypocrites that give conservatism a bad name.

Horowitz is a former Marxist who's now a conservative. ....not exactly the equivalent of Karenga (to understate the matter).Strom Thurmand was a segregationist who never renounced his segregationist past. How much hell has he caught on these boards?
