Yeah, dry heat. I remember when I flew out of Phoenix, it had to be 115 degrees, and a 727 had sunk into the tarmac and had to be towed out.
Tossing reality out the window, AZ summers are nice, if all you had to do was sip a cold one, and wade around in a shaded pool all day.

Actually, I think some people can easily adapt, with the right attitude. But, I won't stand in the way of those who can't deal with the heat.
I-10 and I-17 traffic clears after 10am! ;o)

We spent every possible minute in our pool when we lived in Phoenix. Nothing like it. Air conditioned building to air conditioned building - that was life in Phoenix. I do miss THAT. Phoenix (no matter what part) is full of gangs and low-lifes.
The company I used to work for had a collector who told me a sizeable portion of the newbies to Phoenix ended up abandoning their homes and taking root elsewhere. We moved to be closer to our children. In hindsight, glad we moved when we did.
