This is typical for the older homes in Boise below. Sure they are building newer homes in the range of 275k however, we saw them close up, not on a computer. Most were on postage stamp lots, with zero privacy, and built right on tip of each other. Seeing them on the computer, and seeing them in person are
very different.
That is why I said, I considered those newer homes on postage stamp lots, that are built right on top of each other, first time buyer class homes.
This home in Boise is on .14 of an acre. and was built in 1941. This is what I am talking about. $339,900 3 Bed, 1 Bath 1,872 Sq. Ft. 0.14 Acres

I live here, you don't. You were here once in July. I have a different take on it than you do.
That looks like a house you would see in the "North End" near downtown Boise. That's where all the liberals live. It's considered (by yuppy libs) to be a prime place to live in Boise which is why they have the asking price they do.
Seeing them on the computer, and seeing them in person are very different.
Maybe, but not much.
So you never answered the question, do you require acres of land to be happy? Is that what you need for your "privacy"?

I looked up that house. It's a downtown location considered to be prime real estate. That's why the asking price is what it is.
