James Carville, the political consultant and former Clinton aide, once said that Pennsylvania is Philadelphia on one side, Pittsburgh on the other, and Alabama in between.

If she started her whiney article with that quote, I wouldn't have wasted 120 seconds of my life reading the rest. Anybody who quotes carVILE without an execration is obviously a liberal lamer.

3000 winmag (my favorite round, too); I try to distinguish Carville, the effective and knowledgeable operative from the GOAM (God Of All Moonbats) his opinions display.
Like Dick Morris (and Rove), when it came down to the REALLY important issues of a campaign what issues to spend $ on and when, where and how to spend those dollars - he is/was one spat cookie.

As a political philosopher he is a major dip, as an analyst of who votes how, where, why and is there a point in throwing money at the situation to change it, he is one of the best ever. As a poly sci major I feel toward him and Dick Morris the way an Army officer buddy of mine feels toward Rommel and Guderian hate what they fought for but admire the skill of the attack,

If I don't move down South, I plan on retiring to that "Alabama" portion someday. It sounds like bliss compared to being this close to Philly.
