Depends on how you define corruption...indictments? Convictions? Rumors? Lies perpetuated by the party not in power?
Your friend is wrong and is living in a fantasy world of liberalism. There is nothing you can do about it. The debate you are contemplating will be a losing battle with this person, they will always change the criteria as soon as you show him wrong.

Clinton had easily a more corrupt admin and had more people indicted than any other. And more on the way, I hope. Like The Hildabeaste (campaign finance crimes, Barrett report).
I suspect twenty years from now Xlinton will hold the all time record for most administration employees indicted.

If you're talking financial corruption, it's probably a tie between Grant and Harding.
Your friend is probably not willing, or perhaps capable, of defining his terms.

Just agree with your family member and be smug about it, that usually gets them annoyed pretty good. Also you can let him know that even though he and liberals like him are wrong, the president will continue to do whatever he can to protect every American, not just those that agree with him. And then you can take his lunch from him and eat it.
To: zarf
hahaha that's the best answer when dealing with liberal family members

Be honest I think President Nixon was most corrupt Give me a break. Even Travelgate, one of Clinton's lesser scandals, was more damaging than Watergate.

Never forget that those who use such illogical and nonsensical reasoning to try to denigrate this administration, and its efforts in combating the war on terror, do so in an effort to justify their own inaction in the cause of liberty.
I was always raised with the ideal that a man unwilling to fight for liberty, deserved neither liberty, or manhood.
If you say the cause is corrupt, or unjust, then you allow yourself the self delusion that you are neither a coward, or traitor as you hide behind the "momma skirt", plaintively bleating for someone to "make the bad men go away".
However, be careful. Hell hath no fury like a coward, cretin, creep or traitor exposed.

Just get liquored up and forget about it. Totally agree. Why talk politics during the holidays?

hmmmm....very wise analysis.

I can offer assistance in the form of advice. Quit socializing with leftist family and friends. They are the enemy. The war on terror isn't a parlor game. !! Have A Cool Yule !!

Actually here's the sad truth. The Bush Administration isn't corrupt, in fact it has been refreshingly honest regarding some of the problems our nation faces, although I disagree strongly with the nonexistent stance on illegal immigration. It is Congress that has pushed the envelope of corruption to the n'th degree, and both political sides at that. Makes the Roman senate in the waning days of the empire look like boy scouts. Every last one needs to be kicked out on their collective ears. Just like P.J. O'Rourke said... it's a parliament of whores.
