C'mon. You can't discount Bogey and all his movies. Even the spaghetti Westerns in the Seventies had more going on than the current crop of stuff.

Sorry, just not my cup of tea. I don't like the Tracy and Hepburn movies my mother liked either. In my life, the heyday of movies began with Al Pacino. There are a couple of movies that go further back that I like, but not much further. Becket and Lion in Winter were both mid to late 60's I believe.

I put up a list of my favorite movies around here somewhere. Most of the movies I like are very modern.
