Sigh. Heven't we learned anything about politics in the US, when it comes to democrats?
It doesn't matter how big a creep Hillary is. Skeletons don't matter. Image problems don't matter. Baggage doesn't matter.
Oh, just wait until people hear about this skandal! Then nobody will ever vote for her!

The difference in Hillary's case is she has to go through the Democrat primaries.
We all know that if a Republican exposes her scandals that the media can bury it easily.
In the Democrat primaries for the Presidency it is a winner takes all, shark infested waters, ambitious, no holds barred contest for primacy. If the Democrat Party does not somehow blackball any major contenders who will actually compete with Hillary in the primaries, then she'll be up against people who will expose all of her dirty laundry to knock her out of the race. And these will be other Democrats.
The Democrat primaries in '08 will be the nastiest ever seen. And if the DNC somehow manages to have her run unopposed in '08 for the nomination, then I imagine a lot of people will abandon the Democrats and either vote Republican or not vote at all, because a lot of people do not like Hillary.
Realistically, Hillary doesn't have much of a chance of escaping the Democratic primaries in any shape to challenge any decent Republican candidate. We would have to really screw up in our choice of candidate in order to give her a shot, and a guaranteed way to lose to Hillary would be to choose a moderate over a conservative.
