This has Chinese government all over it. If they ever overthrow the government they will immediately ask for Chinese "help". The Chinese will roll in and wipe the Nepalis out just like they did the Tibetans and install their own ethnic Chinese.
India should step in and help Nepal wipe out the rebels. Instead they're basically giving them safe haven. Many Indian states have leftist governments bordering Nepal which are basically traitors to India and useful idiots for the Chi-coms. They buy into all that pinko crap about the how the maoists are fighting for the poor and down-trodden.
Actually, I doubt that Beijing wants to annex Nepal, rather I think that they would prefer it to basically become another North Korea...that is another "client state". IMHO, I'm not aware of Nepal having anything that would make the ChiComs want to annex it outright.
