This practice is not restricted to border towns.This goes own in cities,towns and counties across America.Several years back I had an indirect offer to deliver votes for me in an election.These things are so hard to prove that a lot of jurisdictions do not want to mess with them. Voter fraud is rampant all over America. Why do people not realize the reason behind making people identify themselves and proving they are really eligible to vote is a great idea and one that needs to be enacted. You have dead people voting,people who are not eligible and people who do not even exist that vote and there is one party that clearly benefits from this and raises hell when you try and bring it about so only qualified people can vote.
In my area in over 40 years I do not remember anyone being elected from the Republican or Libertarian Party and neither do any from these two parties on a state wide election ever carry this county or town.
