My guess - they're claiming someone other than Ryan O'Doherty (or a person connected with the party) changed the e-mail address on file with FR to rodohery@mddems.org. Remember - the account was originally registered to ryanrock2004@yahoo.com.
Jim Robinson hasn't released the date of the changes to the e-mail address - they may coincide with the date Matthew Mosk of the WaPo started snooping here (which could make O'Doherty his intermediary "source", not MD4Bush). I'm also curious whether the arsonist has ever returned to the scene of the fire after his FReepmail dumps.

Even if they really believe that the email address is legitimate, they will still publicly question "the authenticity of O'Doherty's e-mail address on freerepublic.com" in order to plant the seeds of doubt in others.
It's not what they believe, it's what they can get others to believe.

It means they think either Jim Robinson, or someone who isn't O'Doherty, changed the email address to incriminate O'Doherty.
