It's not just th Northeast. This is in Detroit where Conyers wife is a councilwoman and Rep. Kilpatrick's son is Mayor. The Gov't in Detroit is most certainly a 'Family' affair, in the most imaginative and traditional sense of that term.
Meanwhile the City teeters on the brink of bankruptcy, the schools are a mess and virtually every City Dept. is dysfunctional, overseen by thugs.
