Oh, there's no place like home for the holidays 'Cause no matter how far away you roam When you pine for the sunshine Of a friendly face For the holidays, you can't beat Home, sweet home
I met a man who lives in Tennessee And he was headin' for Pennsylvania And some home made pumpkin pie From Pennsylvania folks a travelin' down To Dixie's sunny shore From Atlantic to Pacific, gee The traffic is terrific
Oh there's no place like home For the holidays, 'cause no matter How far away you roam If you want to be happy in a million ways For the holidays, you can't beat Home, sweet home.

In a world that couldn't care less, we are to be people who couldn't care more. So true. Thanks for your post, Mayor.
To: Billie
Christmas hugs! Same to you, Billie. :-)

The empty boxes are collected, the floors are being swept. The only Christmas upset was when one of our house kitties escaped out the front door and disappeared. She is our once wild starving stray. I finally heard her faint plaintive mewing and, after dark , found her on the roof, unable to get down. My voice seemed to encourage her to find a way down and she suddenly appeared and welcomed my picking her up! She had had her adventure. Christmas blessings to all.

To: Diver Dave
Hi Dave. Sounds like another wonderful, blessed Christmas at the DD household. LOL about taking your decorations down....I'm usually scrambling to get them up by Christmas so ours are usually up until the end of January! Hopefully sometime you will post the obglitary photos of Christian, Logan, Bailey and Jack!!
To: The Mayor
Prayers for gram and I really appreciated reading your note to snugs about your moms passing. Last year Christmas was just a month for me...this year was so much easier but still bittersweet. Your words put it in a comforting perspective. God bless you and your family!
To: Mama_Bear
Thanks again Lori for such a beautiful Christmas thread. Having finally met you this summer..I could almost "visually" see your intensity and effort (AND frustrations) as you put the thread together!!! Indeed it WAS a labor of love. I'm so glad to read what a special Christmas this was with your son. Hugs to you, jk and Chachi and Jackie!!!!
To: LadyX; LUV W

To: snugs
I feel so much for you. When you look up in the sky your mum is one of the shining stars looking down at you and your dad. Please take care of yourself. ((((snugs)))))
