Gov. Bob Taft, R-Ohio, placed 50th nationally in the survey with an 80 percent disapproval rating. He was recently convicted on state criminal ethics charges and is now under federal indictment, accused of engaging in illegal fundraising for President Bush.

Go Feds. Taft's a crook, get him out of there.

Unfortunately, Governor goofy has been too much of a team player, and has been used by the players.

He'll go down. But it's going to be ugly this summer. This scandal will make everyone forget about delay.

Having met the guy, I'd say he isn't the sharpest chisel in the Taft tool box and is a bit of a wimp besides. Criminal? Nah. ain't got the cojones for it.
