I had a FUBAR with my communities electricity one time during an update of Adobe and it gave me all kinds of fits for a while. I ended up removing it and reinstalling it. Troubles I was having with it ceased after that. I don't know if that will help you out or not but it did solve my troubles.
I've tried that (removing and re-installing) but am still seeing problems. It might well be an easy fix since I'm pretty computer illiterate.
