Did you (or anyone else) catch the segment about the US Soldier who returned home from Iraq for Christmas and was killed while walking his wife in the park in Raleigh NC? That story made me furious. I looked for a thread concerning this but couldn't find it.

Were they convicted?
They were first tried on state charges in Ithaca. Being Ithaca, there was a hung jury. They were then tried in Binghamton of federal charges and convicted [though acquitted of interfering with government operations, the most serious charge]. Sentencing is scheduled for January, I believe.
This is BS.
They should be in prison.

The Quakers bing supposedly peaceful is irrelevant. The fact that they're against the war effort aids and abets the enemy, and warrants putting them on the investiagation list.
