The NSA does indeed scan all comms. Try saying "bomb" and other type things and say what you are going to "bomb" and see if that creates any action from the police.
Doubt the first, second, or third instance would create any action. After that you might be "listened to", but only if your destination is outside the US. Otherwise I suspect they would need a court order. But no thanks.
