Good news. Combine that with Japan getting BMD and our aegis destroyers and we should be ok vs people like North Korea and Iran. Since they will have a small number of missles.

It would be good news indeed if indeed they work. There have been too few flight tests of the system. I would be happier to see more sucessfull intercepts.

we should be ok vs people like North Korea and IranYes, we would be less likely to melt on US soil, but a small device mounted on a SCUD could reach Israel, Europe and everywhere in the ME.
Care to imagine what our response would be and what would happen to 40% of the world's oil reserves?

Sounds good to me as long was we are expecting ICBM's and tot boat towed warheads or ground hugging cruise missiles.

I'm pretty sure we have the technology to drill through a few feet of glass to get at it if we really need to....

I'm all for it so long as we do not acquire a Maginot Line mentality.

Yeah, first wave will be offshore launched cruise missiles from Russian subs. Russia is dropping the pretense of democracy.
