Coe said he bought the aluminum pole - a centerpiece of Festivus celebrations - a few years ago at Home Depot for $5. However, merchants are now selling them online for almost $40.

Damn commercialization of festivus!!

I was at the hardware store looking for an aluminum pole, and they didn't even call the Festivus Poles. They just called them aluminum poles. I was pissed!

Better get your festivus plumbing tubes now before hardware managers realize they can get 40 dollars a pole for them

In the spirit of Festivus, due to commercialization, another holiday must be invented.

I understand that select Home Depot stores are allowing Festivus observers to stand outside the front of the stores, with one relative, and complain.
