For him, Jesus is the messiah.
Hmmm, now there is a "you don't get to decide" issue. What he thinks is irrelevant. Either Christ is the messiah, or he isn't. Belief of anyone or even everyone makes no difference at all.
Precisely the same as your boy friend being a Christian or not. He either IS, or he ISN'T. As he pointed out.
And I never said he wasn't or questioned his beliefs. I did talk about people who were Christian in name only. I am clueless as to whether he is one of those and never accused him of it.
So, there are two possibilities, you are unable to comprehend the written word on even the lowest level, or you are a liar. Since then you have lied again. I'm pretty sure you can read, even if you aren't good at it, so I'm guessing it's the latter.
2=2=4. It's true. Whether anyone thinks it's 4 "for them", doesn't make a whit of difference. It is what it is.
And now YOU "get to decide" what a Christian is. That is what you accused me falsely of doing. And, I never said it wasn't. It's certainly part of it.
But at the risk of having you misread what I say, or try to twist it into a pretzel, I'll tell you this;
Being a Christian is a lot more than what you just said.
For instance, Satan himself knows that Jesus is the messiah, and he ain't no Christian.
Have a good weekend. And I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
Again, it is irrelevant what you or I or anyone else thinks. He is or he isn't. If he is the Messiah, he is whether or not we believe it.
For SCG, Jesus is the messiah. So your "truth" is a "belief", and yes, I have said that to him. It's called a difference in belief. Most people can handle that.
I have no problem handling that other people believe other things. I have not told you that you are wrong and I am right, or that SCG is right. I only say it matters not what we believe. What is, is. Or what isn't, isn't.
Have a good weekend. And I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
Thank you. And I hope you have a happy Hanukah.
People are truly sheep waiting to be led to something
I believe I can. Having people air anything at a wedding would create more problems than I care to think of.
Sorry Vision, but no grievances can be aired until next Festivus.
Been away, thank you for posting the info. Will order some for next Christmas season.
I've been wanting to add an event to the Advent/Christmas rituals: The Sparring With The Atheists.
