I hope he fires them all!
Mayor Bloomberg has very little control over the MTA, which runs our subways and buses. It's a quasi-public state agency. He can't fire anyone. Governor Pataki appoints more members to the board than Bloomberg.

I was explaining the transit strike to my daughter and mentioned Steve Doocey commenting that cars must have four or more passengers to travel in NYC. Is this true? If so, is it just during the busy Christmas season or all the time?
We rural Alabamians are a bit confused on the subject, but sincerely wish you an end to what sounds like a very maddening situation.
