My daughter died of Cancer at 3 months. I held her in my lap and said to her "It's OK Sadie if you need to go". We could have continued to keep trying different treatments but the writing was on the wall. We choose to stop the treatments, but continued to medicate her (Morphine) and feed her (Breast Milk and formula). My heart goes out to these parents, and as it's been said in some posts don't criticize until you have walked in their shoes. I hope no one reading this ever walks in mine. The worst 10 days of my life was the 10 days after we decided to stop treatment and waited for Sadie to die. We are now childless and even though it happened 7 years ago, I think of her everyday. On the other hand, we did what we thought was right, and I can sleep at night without second guessing what we decided to do.

You did nothing wrong. Discontinuing treatment is far different than
starving one's child.
Food and water are not medical treatment.
My condolences for the loss of your precious daughter.
