Idiots don't understand that taking a few more craps each day is much better then puking at 2 am because you ate some Tai Peanut sauce or pizza ?

Amen! I had hideous heartburn, to the point I'd wake up chocking on the reflux. Turns out I had the hyper-pyloric bacteria infection. I took a four week regimine of drugs, and it went away. Not everything can be cured with a good diet and excercise, some things are physical!!! Zantac is still a blessing for me when I need it. Believe me, I'd put up with any amount of colitis rather than waking up terrified, gasping and wheezing, unable to breathe because my throat was full of reflux.

That is a very scary feeling and you wonder how many people to intoxicated to wake up die that way.

That is scary, isn't it. People with mild, occasional heartburn have no idea what that's like.

Agreed. Some people think that because a simple, pet cure worked for their mild condition that it will work for everybody. It's like the difference between seasonal flu and bird flu! Lots of fluids won't necessarily get you through the latter.

Turns out I had the hyper-pyloric bacteria infection.

I was actually disappointed my h.pylori test came back negative. Nothing there to treat.
