I think Roberts in the Senate alreday handed Rockefeller his head on his CYA 'note' to the VP.
Check out the American Spectator.

It's been said this comes straight from the office of Jay 'Traitor' Dickhead.

'The leaker should be shot, IMHO. Hayden is a former boss of mine, and there's not a straighter shooter anywhere.'
"The leaker should be hung. Shooting is far too honorable a death for this scumbag. Or better yet, they can be lit on fire and pushed off of from a tall building so they can die like the people there are betraying did on 9-11-01. When is the Left going to wake up to reality that we are at War? I cannot think of a time I have been so angry with the Democrat Party. This goes beyond partisanship. They are actively comitting treason. They MUST be held accountable for this act."
Howabout a combination of the above. Hang these traitors upside down by their feet with their editors and publishers in front of the newspaper they work for at day break. Then at sunset, shot them and let them bleed to death. Then leave their bodies hanging up there until the WOT is over. Repeat this with every member of the senate, MSM, CIA and the Pentagon who leaks and publishes leaks of this nature.

Pinging people to this superb post by Hipaatwo.
Anyone, who can read this and not be outraged by the leakers and the MSM who breached this has to be a lunatic liberal.

Was anything said about pursuing the leakers? If so, I missed it. Has there been ant official release from the DOJ on the leak investigation?

Q General, what's really compromised by the public knowledge of this program? Don't you assume that the other side thinks we're listening to them? I mean, come on.One of the failures of the pampered campus hothouse mutants in the media is to take this war seriously. They have no more regard for the sobering nature of the discussion than for a pick on a fantasy league football team. To them it is no more than a game, an ignorant game of gotcha, with never a thought to the real world stakes. The cavalier, playground level character of this question illustrates the shallowness of the self-annointed princes of the news business. I mean, come on.

Nice resume; and the punk-dogs asking him questions are lucky to have eked out a BS in communications, which we all know is where people wind up who are too dumb stay afloat in any other major.
This like listening to police sergeants being questioned by a bunch of 12-year-old JDs.

Let's put it this way; what if the cops found a piece of paper on the ground that said, "Phone conversation to discuss bombing operation to begin at 4pm". And then it listed the phone number which had an Iran country code and city code on the paper.
You look at your watch and it says 3pm. You realize that there is no way you can get a warrant before 4pm to listen in on the call. What are you going to do?
Take this a step further. You tap the line to listen to the call. A few minutes into the call you realize the two people on the line are American citizens. Did you do something wrong? Do you have to cease the operation? What if they're just discussing recipes for pest control? What if they're actually discussing terrorist operations?

"doesn't FISA provide for a STAT call to the judge with request for tap?"
I haven't read through FISA so I don't know exactly what it says. When I was in the USAF, we were responsible for USSID 18, that is why I knew what to look for.
The point of my previous post was to show that the Attorney General can authorize intercepts of Americna citizens under certain conditions. Those conditions were met.

A Must Read:
Unholy Alliance :
Radical Islam and the American Left (Hardcover)
by David Horowitz
**************************************
Vastly Illuminating, September 25, 2004
I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.
It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.
Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.
This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.

You know what is really really annoying. Listen to "Journalists". They make statements of their hysteric emotion based position as if they were the revealed word of God. They go out and say things like "The President exceeded his powers to set up a domestic spying program" Ah NO he did not AND all THE fact prove it. But that is not the reality they WANT to believe so they just lie and rationalize their bigoted positions.
American "Journalists" are some of the most arrogant, yet appallingly ignorant people on God's green earth. Anything that does not conform to their personal political bigotry is just ignored. They have a complete inability to admit error. For example they have been continually wrong about both Iraq and Afghanistan. Have you ever heard even one Journalist apologies for continually misreporting those stories after their current media spin lie is proven to BE a lie? No they just drop it like they never said any of the lies about "the Army is bogged down and cut off in Iraq" or "Bush ordered the torture at Abu Graibe".
Your average American "Journalists" basically has an exceeding low IQ and an overwhelming, overbearing Messiah Complex. Shakespeare only got it half right. Question is do we hang the Lawyers or the "Journalists" first?

Q Al, you talk about the successes and the critical intercepts of the program. Have there also been cases in which after listening in or intercepting, you realize you had the wrong guy and you listened to what you shouldn't have?
Ans. Well yes, actually. We have intercepted recordings of you and others in the MSM in couplings with barnyard animals.
