I was born in 67. I just remember Co-Op City. It wasn't until my later years that I learned these communists were infiltrating almost every aspect of society under the false idea of "helping the elderly and poor" against THE MAN.

My one sister is a leftist and she bought some underground comic in New Brunswick that featured communist propoganda about taking over an apartment for the cause of rent control. I looked at it and laughed

I think the amusement park took a big hit from the 1964-65 Worlds Fair in NYC, filed bankruptcy and along came Co-op City.
