"They're reasonable people, yes, they're good people, but they're also reacting against demographic changes, just like every prior generation has reacted against demographic changes of people whom they perceive as different," he said. What he is saying is, the borders will remain open to the waves of illegal immigration, don't fight it, just accept it, and go about your business.

Nice name for an author, Rat Stain.

Actually the article seems better than most. Maybe the MSM is realizing this is a mainstream issue and that groups like the Minutemen are trying to protect legal immigration.

We need to start correcting people who use the term "vigilante" with, "We find that offensive and prefer the term undocumented border agent"

Sure, why not?

Still, "the movement has attracted people who are not Klansmen or neo-Nazis." Wow, talk about damning with faint praise.

" . . . illegal immigrants . . . " Dictionary.com:
"-- im·mi·grant ( P ) Pronunciation Key (m-grnt) n.
1 - A person who leaves one country to settle permanently in another."
Therefore, the phrase, 'illegal immigrants' is an oxymoron. To settle permanently here, they would have to stand in line and wait their turn.
Otherwise, they are not immigrants, as they know that they are here temporarily, fearing capture and being sent back to the country where they are permanent citizens.

We need to start correcting people who use the term "vigilante"When someone resorts to name calling, I won't correct them, look at what the President's little "vigilante" moment did for the movement, it got lots of attention, and woke lots of people up to what is going on at the border.

Did someone say Southern Poverty Law Center?!
"The Church of Morris Dees." By Ken Silverstein Harper's Magazine, November 2000. How the Southern Poverty Law Center profits from intolerance. . . .
Ahhh, life in the Poverty Palace is good.
Bigots here. Bigots there. Bigots under your bed. Send your money to . . . .

That's why Criminal Alien is the most correct method of describing these people. By entering our country without proper permission, they are committing a criminal act and once here they are an alien.

Liberal BS/spin. The U.S. has never rejected people from anywhere who come to the U.S. and follow the rules for immigration. Some might be rejected but that's the law. However, we aren't too keen on thousands sneaking in and enjoying the benefits of life in the U.S. without paying their dues.

Exactly.
That's why they should always be refered to as *illegal aliens*. The PC crowd has foisted that immigrant crap on us.

Your definition is better than mine. *Criminal aliens* is the right way to address them.
