I'd be much better off, psychologically speaking, if I could just accept that my parents screwed up royally and addressed the buried anger.
But, I was raised to believe that they were always right, infallible and perfect.

If I had ever had a daughter, you can bet she'd would have been the safest kid in the universe and NOBODY would've laid a paw on her without feeling my wrath...regardless of *who* it was.
Geeze.
I won't even allow anyone to be rude to my *dogs*, for God's sakes.
There's a bright side, though.
It made me into the person I am today and I'm quite pleased with that.
I'm not like them.
No defenseless creature within my sphere of influence will be harmed without redress.
