I don't know, lugsoul, I've read and re-read that section you don't seem to like my reposting on pertinent threads and I think it's pretty clear.

There is no legal wiretapping of US citizens or permanent residents under FISA. Period. The Lone Wolf Amendment you cite expressly excludes US persons.

Oh, and under the most basic statutory construction, the Lone Wolf Amendment undermines your argument about 'agents of a foreign power.' The fact that these persons are excluded from the amendment is pretty good evidence that they aren't intended to be covered by those provisions, which have the same effect as the construction you urge.

Amazing to watch all these FReepers cheering the expansion of the state, even yawning at a flat admission of disregarding the Bill of Rights using a vague 'duty to protect' argument. The same argument could be used to justify kicking in doors and spiriting away people in the middle of the night. And I suspect the same folks would be cheering that, too.
