Good for him?? He was talking about someone else's church affairs! I don't agree with those 5 or 6 church's decisions but then I don't go there or pastor them. Guess he didn't have much else to talk about last week.
The bible states that we are to exhort our brethren when they need it to help them follow Christ as closely as possible. As much as I believe in church autonomy (that's the baptist in me talking), if you're church claims to be christian, what it does is the business of all christians, everywhere. The 'church' after all is defined as the believers in Jesus Christ.
When my pastor mentioned megachurches closing, it was only like a 2 minute spot in the sermon. It mostly concentrated on the commercialization and secularization of Christmas. This was something of a sidenote, although a worthy one at that.

Well, okay, but did he exhort "them" or just rant to his own folks? At least he had other topics to talk about. :-)
And look at me. I guess I can mind my own business too. :-D
