When President Bush is in front of the cameras and speaking out, his poll numbers always improve. He should have been doing this a long time ago. Guess it's better late than never.

IMHO, the success of the Iraqi elections and the cohesiveness, which we are at least now seeing in Iraq, give the President far more of a platform from which to hammer the DEMS, LIBS and NAY-SAYERS.
Patience does have its virtues and I am glad our President is showing his strength on behalf of our Country which he is protecting and the brave United States Military which has made our world a safer place to live.
GO PRESIDENT BUSH AND DO NOT BACK DOWN!

He explained in his Brit Hume interview that they intended to do this at the end of the summer, but then came the hurricanes and his lengthy trip to Asia.
That's why he didn't do it sooner.
